Pass out vocabulary packet & guided note guide for Unit 1 Homework: Watch Unit 1, section 1 PowerPoint with guided notes Wednesday: Intro: Spin & Draw/answer action cards Activity 1: Socrative quiz over section 1 material & go over answers Activity 2: Vocab Swat the Spot/Fill out vocab sheets for Unit 1 Thursday: Activity 1: Why Study Child Development? Brainstorm as a class Activity 2: “The 4 domains of child development” worksheet; once finished have them share their answers with a partner, then as a group, then as a class. Activity 3: Brainstorm over examples for each of the 4 domains of development Friday: Activity 1: Jeopardy preview of Child Development the rest of the semester Activity 2: Baby Price is Right game Homework: Watch Unit 1, Section 2 of PowerPoint with note guide
