Monday: Knife cuts prezi with notes. Tuesday: Cutting like a pro assignment in class, turn in DUE Wednesday. Wednesday: Knife quiz on types of knives video on various cuts, turn in 3 new facts you learned from watching video. Thursday: Prepare class kitchens for tomorrow's lab, Knife cuts Jeopardy, pickle tasting/making own pickles lab if time Friday: Stir fry lab to practice knife cuts, individual student testing on cubing, juilenne, brunoise. This week we will be working on an introduction to the course! We will go over safety and sanitation contracts, classroom expectations, the syllabus and some fun getting to know you activities! Wednesday: Introduction to the teacher and getting to know you activities, go over syllabus and classroom expectations. Thursday: Go over Lab expectations and Safety and Sanitation contract, Create Classroom Rules, fun "identify the food" classroom activity. Friday: Begin Knife cuts! |
