This week we are continuing learning about Chapter 1, an introduction to the restaurant and travel industry Why are we learning it? We are learning these things because they will help us be successful in a future career in the restaurant or tourism sector. How will I know I learned it? You will know you learned it when you pass the test over the information and do well in the practical labs. Introduce Ms. Jarvis, syllabus & safety/sanitation expectations Name game with students to learn names Go through and talk about the online portfolio, and the food network reports 11/16: Students set up their online weebly portfolios; Take syllabus quiz 11/17: Check out lab coats and complete “Before you cook” test.
